Terms & Conditions

ACCOMMODATION

Strictly maximum 2 guests per unit allowed. If you require extra guests/children, this must be discussed and approved with us in writing prior to booking. Please be aware in case of children, the property is not fenced and the decking does not have rails.

No events or parties allowed.

No smoking, vaping, e-cigarettes allowed.

No pets allowed; our accommodation is on an open natural field with many protected brids (especially kiwis) living nearby which are in danger of cats and dogs not kept contained at all times.

We have an eco drain/sewage system so please use the environmentally friendly products provided. That also means only flushing toilet paper down the toilet (no feminine products or wipes)

Please be respectful of the neighbours with no loud noise after hours.

During extended dry summer periods please conserve water as we are on rain supply only. Please note the outdoor bath may be unavailable for this reason also.

The beach path, outdoor bath, and middle section of lawn are shared spaces which all guests have access to. These can not be claimed for private use.

Guests are liable for any damage they cause to the property and/or its contents.

Full payment must be made upfront to confirm your reservation.

To receive a full refund of accommodation costs (excluding any third-party payment fees), guests must cancel within 48 hours of booking, and the cancellation must occur at least 14 days before check-in.
If guests cancel 14 or more days before check-in but not within 48 hours of booking, they will receive a 50% refund.
If guests cancel within 14 days before check-in and not within 48 hours of booking, they will not receive any refund.

Knights in Residence reserves the right to cancel your reservation within 72 hours of booking.

ART

We make every effort to photograph our artwork as accurately as possible; however, we cannot guarantee that colors will always be perfectly represented online. Please keep this in mind when placing your order.

Shipping costs are additional to the artwork price. While items delivered within New Zealand typically arrive within 2-5 working days, we cannot guarantee these timeframes. Any delays or issues should be addressed directly with the courier service.

If you are importing artwork outside of New Zealand, you may be subject to taxes, duties, or other fees at the border. These are your responsibility.

If for any reason you are not fully satisfied with your purchase, you may request a return within 14 days of receiving your order.

In the event that you receive a damaged item, you may request a repair (to the best of our abilities), a replacement (it may not be identical to the original), or a refund within 14 days of delivery.

Please note that custom and made-to-order products, including commissioned artworks and bespoke design pieces, are not eligible for return or refund.

Kindly contact us before returning any items so we can expect your shipment. Please note that all return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.

THERAPY

To cancel or reschedule an appointment, you must provide at least 24 hours' notice prior to the scheduled start time. Failure to do so, including in cases of no-shows, may result in a partial payment charge.
